New Highway in Haryana: Haryana is going to get 3 more new highways soon. These three new highways will be constructed under the Bharatmala project. These highways will be built between Panipat to Dabwali Highway, Hisar to Rewari Highway and Ambala to Delhi Highway.

The Center has approved the proposals for these three national highways. Now it will help in reducing the traffic load on GT Road.

Chandigarh to Delhi in 2.5 hours

With the construction of a new highway along the Yamuna between Ambala and Delhi, the distance between Chandigarh and Delhi will be reduced by two to two and a half hours. With the construction of a highway along the Yamuna, the traffic pressure on GT Road will be reduced. The new highway will be used to travel between Delhi and Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Panipat-Chautala village will become a green field highway.

A new highway will be built from New Delhi to Ambala. It will also be connected to the expressway from Panchkula to Yamunanagar. A new green field expressway will be built from Panipat to Chautala Village. This will provide direct connectivity from Bikaner to Meerut.

Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala said that after getting the approval of the central government, the National Highway Authority will now prepare a detailed report. After the report is approved, the process of highway construction will be started by issuing tenders. Soon the officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will start preparing the DPR.
