Delhi NCR Metro Line: Delhi Metro has proposed to Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation to build a metro line between Vaishali metro station and Noida Sector 62. According to a latest report. According to the information received, the length of this route will be 5.83 km.
Metro can go directly from Ghaziabad to Noida. Without going to Delhi. As per the metro proposal, the 5.83 km route will cross NH 9. CISF Camp, DPS Indirapuram, Ramleela Ground, Niti Khand and Gyan Khand stations will be on the proposed route.
Commuters will get the new line Blue Line at both Ghaziabad and Noida. Currently, the Blue Line runs simultaneously from Delhi to Yamuna Bank. Then a line goes to Vaishali. While the other one goes till Noida. Currently, to go from Ghaziabad to Noida, one has to go to Yamuna Bank by Blue Line. You have to catch Noida Metro from here. Before Anand Vihar, you have to take the Pink Line to Mayur Vihar Extension, then take the Blue Line from here. This third plan has been given by DMAC to GDA for the expansion of Ghaziabad Metro line. GDA has rejected two earlier projects.

Center will give 50% funds
Delhi Metro will prepare a detailed project report after the proposal is approved. 50% of the project will be funded by the Central Government, 30% by the State Government and 20% by agencies like GDA, UP State Industrial Development Authority and Housing Board. There are four stations marked on this route. The first station will be in Vaibhav block, the second will be in DPS Indirapuram block, the third will be in Niti block and the fourth will be in Gyan block.

Metro and Rapidex will be available
The new line will improve the connectivity of Noida and Ghaziabad, said GDA vice-chairman and DM RK Singh. Rapidex and metro lines will also be included. Sahibabad station is just one km away from Vaishali metro station on the new Rapidex route. Commuters will get the facility to reach Vaishali Metro from Noida Sector 62 and take Rapidex train from Sahibabad.
