New Trains: During Chhath Puja and Diwali, more people travel in trains than usual. This can lead to overcrowding in trains. And may have to wait for a long time. To help in this, Railways has decided to run special trains during the festive season. These trains will help those people who have been waiting to get a seat for a long time. This is especially useful for those people. Who want to go to Chandigarh, Firozpur and Bathinda during Diwali.

There will be a special train which will run between Chandigarh and Gorakhpur from November 2 to November 30. This train will make five journeys and will have different types of coaches for people to travel. Another special train will run between Bathinda and Banaras from November 5. Till November 29, this train will make eight trips and it will also have different types of coaches for people to travel.

There will be a train named 04646 which will go from Jammu Tawi to Barauni and then back to Jammu Tawi. It will travel seven times from October 19 to November 30. Another train named 04677-78 will go from Firozpur to Patna and then back to Firozpur. It will travel six times from October 25 to November 29. This train will have one AC second class, one AC third class, 17 sleeper class and three general class coaches.
