Noida Metro Rail Corporation Has Made a Plan To improve Connectivity

Greater Noida West Metro: Noida Metro Rail Corporation is preparing to fulfill the dreams of the people living in Greater Noida West. Dr. Lokesh M., MD of NMRC and CEO of Noida Authority, is preparing to connect Noida and Greater Noida West with metro rail service. After the old proposal was not approved, a new proposal has now been made. According to the old proposal, Sector-51 metro station was to be connected to Sector-52, but now Sector-61 will be shifted to Greater Noida West by connecting it to the Aqua Line. With this scheme the journey will be completed in less time.

Noida Metro Rail Corporation has made a plan to improve connectivity. DPR is also changing now.

It is 430 meters away from Quay Line Sector-51 Metro Station and Blue Line Sector-52 Metro Station. It was planned to build a foot overbridge between the two stations to provide convenience to the passengers, but it would be very inconvenient for people to walk such a long distance. The Noida Authority told the PMO that it will connect Sector-51 metro station of Aqua Line and Sector-51 metro station of Delhi Metro with elevators so that passengers do not have to cover the distance between the two stations. Let us tell you that the first proposal was not approved by the PMO.

On November 22, 2023, NMRC was told that the Central Government has asked them to submit a new DPR after changes in the project. According to officials, after the DPR and changed alignment, the Aqua Line will connect to Sector-61 metro station of Metro Blue Line till Greater Noida West. Due to this, people will have to walk less distance.
