Now Metro Will Run in These Cities of Haryana Also, Know These New Route Plans

Haryana Metro Line: It will be a circular dynamic corridor that will connect the Millennium City Centre, Subhash Chowk, Railway Station and Rejangla Chowk in the complete circle of Cyber City. The new company, headed by the Union Urban Development Secretary, will be a 50 per cent joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Haryana.
The new company will run all upcoming projects, while HMRC will run the existing Rapid Metro project. Yogi was presiding over the 54th meeting of Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HRMC) today.
The number of passengers will be very high
Shri Kaushal said that this will significantly increase both ridership and revenue for HMRTC, which shows their commitment towards efficient urban mobility solutions. The ridership of Rapid Metro Gurugram will increase by 35.54% compared to last year. The number of passengers increased to 80,13,765 compared to 59,12,457 last year.

Mr Kaushal asked transport department officials to look into the last mile connectivity problems of each metro station. The aim of this initiative is to provide ease to the passengers from their home to their destination. The Chief Secretary said that the Corporation should focus on simplifying end-to-end passenger movement, which would make metro travel more convenient.
Palwal to Ballabhgarh Metro Extension
Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal announced that metro connectivity will be increased from Ballabhgarh to Palwal. With a 25 km long temporary corridor and ten proposed stations studied for technical feasibility, this extension will form an important link in regional connectivity.
Metro line from Bahadurgarh to Asodha
The government wants to extend Bahadurgarh Metro to Asoudha to connect with Haryana Orbit Rail Network and Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway. Ridership evaluation study has been ordered to be submitted at the earliest.

Major Initiatives of Tricity Projects in Chandigarh Urban Mobility
In the meeting, information was given about the progress of the Mass Rapid Transit System project for Chandigarh Tricity. The Rights Consultancy Agency is active in preparing Alignment-cum-AAR and DPR (Detailed Project Report). In its first phase, Rs 7.5 lakh per km including toll structure has been paid for 79.50 km.

Millennium City Center to Cyber City Corridor
Now work on a metro connectivity project between Millennium City Center and Cyber City, Gurugram has started. The project will span 28.50 km across 27 stations and cost Rs 5,452.72 crore. Pre-construction processes have started. Which includes geotechnical investigation and design consultation.
