Tender has also been issued for this.

In the initial days, the facility will be provided in more crowded places.

Delhi Transport Corporation is going to provide private parking facility. Parking charges will be imposed by MCD and NDMC for parking here. Parking timings will be from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. After this, Delhi Transport Corporation buses will be parked here. Initially this facility will be started in areas like Kalkaji, Ambedkar Nagar, Hari Nagar, Noida, Mayapuri, Shadipur. These areas of Delhi are like this. Where there is a lot of crowd.

This facility will be started in 2 months

According to the information given by the officials, parking facility for private vehicles will be started at DTC bus depot in 1 to 2 months. It will be given on contract for the first 2 years. It will be extended 3 times in one year each. CCTV cameras will be installed at the parking space to keep an eye on the vehicles. Future booking can also be done for parking the vehicle here, apart from this, the drivers can also park for a month.

This system was also started in the year 2004

Giving information, Transport Corporation officials said that in the year 2004, Delhi Transport Corporation had opened about 16 depots for private parking. Out of which some parking stations were not successful. Apart from this, the construction of a parking station will not only bring financial benefits to the corporation but the vacant space will also be put to good use. Apart from this, plans are also being made by DTC to create multi-level parking space.
