Nuh News :- Unemployment has increased so much in the country today. That people are wandering here and there in search of jobs. When educated youth do not get jobs despite their best efforts, they either get attracted towards farming. Or they start doing some other small work. An illiterate farmer in Nuh district of Haryana has done that. Even educated farmers cannot do this.

Taking care of trees and plants as children

Najam was born on 1 January 1963 in the family of a Fajru farmer of Biwan village in Nuh district of Haryana. Fajru belonged to a farmer family. He learned truck driving in his childhood and drove the truck continuously for about 15 years. Najam got married at the age of 40 but did not have children. Then Najam considered the trees and plants as his children and started serving them. He has shown the mirror to the educated farmers by planting all types of fruitful, shady and flowering trees.

The illiterate farmer did not perform well

Says the illiterate farmer. That “I have never studied English medium, never gone to college and never given any paper, now I will teach people a lesson which people have never seen, I will demonstrate it.” Pleased with the hard work of this farmer from Haryana, agricultural organizations of more than half a dozen countries have honored him by giving him appreciation letters. Presently this illiterate farmer is working as a gardener in Mewat Engineering College Waqf Board.

Earning Rs 12,000 per month

When the farmer had no work, his wife Makina fell ill. Then when he asked money from his elder brother for treatment, the elder brother said that since he has no children. Then why are you running so much? On the same day, Najam started living in his village and learned about new techniques of vegetables, fruits, flowers etc. while taking lessons from a team from Delhi Dosa Institute. The director of Palla Engineering College noticed Najam and gave him a job. Now he is earning Rs 12,000 per month by doing modern farming.
