The plan to lay 24 km long railway tracks between Pilani and Luharu has received government approval. With the success of this scheme, Pilani will be directly connected not only to Rajasthan but also to major cities of India like Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai. Apart from this, approval has also been given for survey of 45 km long new railway line of Khatushyamji-Salasar Sujangarh.
