That the railway terminal will be built in the airport premises itself. For this, North Central Railway (NCR) is making a project to connect Chola station to Rundhi in Haryana. With the connection, Chola station will become a junction.

Dr. Amit Malvi, Senior PRO, North Central Railway, Prayagraj, said that North Central Railway has started the survey to build a new 50 km long rail line to connect Chola to Rundhi in Haryana. The survey will be completed soon. After completion of the survey, a detailed project report will be prepared. Railway officials said that the railway line connecting Rundhi in Haryana will also connect to Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata railway lines.

It will be beneficial that Hazrat Nizamuddin trains going from Faridabad to Prayagraj, Kanpur and Howrah will run via Jewar-Chola. At the same time, South Indian trains from Anand Vihar to Mumbai and New Delhi will be operated from Ghaziabad. The railway link will also cross the Yamuna Expressway. This will also provide connectivity to other cities including Prayagraj, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Jhansi and Kanpur.
