IRCTC has signed a deal with food ordering and delivery app Swiggy. Now Swiggy will do food delivery in trains also. At present this service is being started at the railway stations of Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. After this, you will be able to easily order food on Swiggy through the e-Catering portal while traveling in the train.

• First of all you have to go to IRCTC Catering Portal and submit your PNR.
• After this, choose any one of the outlets in the list.
• Now order your favorite food
• For payment, you can select any option like online payment or cash on delivery.

Deal with zomato

IRCTC had earlier also made a deal with Zomato for food delivery in trains. Under this deal with Zomato, its service is available at some selected railway stations including Delhi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi. There are estimates. That IRCTC will soon expand these services.
