Starting May 15, the weather is expected to turn dry once again, following which temperatures are likely to rise over the subsequent seven days. Consequently, there is a growing possibility of a heatwave returning to Haryana.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a strong likelihood of heatwave conditions prevailing in the coming days.

**Special Advisory for Farmers**

In light of the changing weather conditions, the Meteorological Department has advised farmers to exercise special caution. Given the possibility of rain and strong winds over the next three days, it is suggested that the sowing of cotton crops be postponed for the time being. Farmers whose wheat or barley crops have reached maturity are advised to complete harvesting and threshing as soon as possible.

Due to the strong winds, wheat straw (bhusa) should be stored in a safe, covered location to prevent it from being blown away. Irrigation of vegetable crops and other fields should be temporarily suspended. Livestock owners are advised to keep their animals under shelter and implement appropriate measures to protect them from mosquitoes.
