Rapid Rail: Delhiites are soon going to get Rapid Rail on two new routes. It was informed that the distance from Delhi to Alwar in Rajasthan and from Delhi to Panipat in Haryana will now be only a few minutes. It will also be quite easy to go from Delhi to Meerut. The main reason for this is the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor, which will be approximately 80 km long and will run at a speed of 160 km per hour.

There is a good news for Delhiites. That every level of rapid rail will be investigated in this corridor, hence people are now very curious to know the route and halts of rapid rail from Delhi to Alwar and from Delhi to Panipat. A cabinet note is now underway under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the construction of Delhi-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat Rapid Rail Transit System corridors. Necessary information was given to the officials in this regard also on Saturday.

Now the journey from Delhi to Alwar and Panipat will be easy. The cost of 3 RRTS corridor will be more than Rs 91 thousand crore. Central, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan governments will also participate in it. A senior government official said that the Transport Department of Delhi Government has also issued a draft cabinet note for the improvement of Delhi-Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behrrod corridor. The note sought a comprehensive response from the finance, planning and law departments. It is also possible to enter into an agreement with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation for both the corridors after getting approval from the Cabinet.
