Rapid Rail Will Now Run on This New Route in Haryana

Haryana Rapid Rail: The final location has been selected to build the proposed Rapid Rail casting yard. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) has sought land from the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSSVP) for a yard near the MCD toll on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway (NH-48).

Rapid Rail Changes

An NCRTC official said that the first route of the rapid train was from Kapashera in Delhi to Maharana Pratap Chowk on Atul Kataria Chowk, Old Delhi Road, but now the route has been changed. There will now be a new route of rapid rail along NH-48. Earlier there was a plan to build a casting yard on Old Delhi Road, but now the Rapid Rail will not run on this route, hence land will be required near MCD Toll on NH-4.
