UP News: The 17 km long four-lane road from Lucknow Highway to Mandhana will be constructed using rubber process, which will make the road durable and the tires of vehicles will wear less. Along with this, there will be convenience in transportation. Thailand uses this technology. Public Works Department officials are ready to use this technology in the construction of four-lane roads.

For this, permission has been sought from the headquarters. Officials said that 17 km road of Mandhana, Bithoor, Shuklaganj will be made four lane at a cost of Rs 162 crore. Presently the roads are 7.5 meters wide. And it has two lanes. While making four lanes, a divider will be made in the middle, the width of one side of which will be 8.5 meters. A 2-2 meter footpath will also be built in the four lane. This will improve the traffic system.

Low cost roads

The Public Works Department has tried to build good roads at low cost using Thailand's technology. Senior officials of the Public Works Department of Kanpur said that there are many rubber trees in Thailand. The rubber coming out of these is used in making roads.

Due to this, roads and vehicles operate easily. Also, the chances of vehicle tires getting damaged are very less. A proposal is being made to make ten percent of the four-lane road construction using rubber technology. This technology will be used after getting permission from the headquarters.
