School Closed Update: Cold wave continues in many states of North India. State governments have closed schools due to increasing cold. Also, the Haryana government has issued a new order to close all schools up to class 3 till January 20. Remember that winter holidays were already given in the state till January 15. But in view of extreme cold, holidays in primary classes have been extended.

At the same time, students of fourth and fifth class have the authority of District Education Officer and District Deputy Commissioner. So that they can decide on holidays at their own level. Apart from this, school timings have changed for children in the age group of sixth to twelfth. All schools in the state will open only from 10 am to 4 pm, as per the order. The presence of all teachers is also mandatory from January 16.

Holidays increased in Punjab also

Not only this, due to cold in Punjab, school holidays have been extended. Till January 20, schools will remain closed up to class 5 in government and private schools in the state. Schools will remain open from 10 am to 3 pm for students of classes 6th to 12th. The Education Department has issued an order regarding this.
