Holiday has been declared on November 13 due to UP Assembly by-election. While on November 15, holiday will be given on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. Holiday in schools on November 13 due to by-election

Voting will be held on November 13 due to the by-election of Uttar Pradesh Assembly. District Magistrates have declared a public holiday for this day so that the election process can be completed smoothly. Under this, all schools and government offices in the respective districts will be closed. The government has directed that the government employees who are on duty in election work. They should be kept free from normal work on that day.

In which districts will there be a holiday?

This holiday is not for all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. On November 13, schools will remain closed only in those districts where by-elections are being held. These districts include Ambedkarnagar, Mainpuri, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Mirzapur, Kanpur Nagar, Aligarh, Prayagraj and Moradabad. Holiday has been declared in the schools of these districts so that there is no disruption during the voting process.
