UP News: Passenger facilities will be constructed at places of cultural, mythological, religious and historical importance in the municipalities and nagar panchayats of the state on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

This is a scheme for development of infrastructure and other facilities at important heritage related places under Vandan Yojana of Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Department. The target is to develop and improve basic facilities at such places with a budget of Rs 50 crore.

The aim of the plan is. That high level facilities should be provided to tourists and travelers at these important places, which will increase the attractiveness of these places and save the cultural heritage. In this, tourist facilities at heritage sites will be improved by integrating Swachh Bharat Mission, Amrit Mission, Smart City, Safe City, CM Grid and other existing schemes.

Till now, lists of work have been received from about 65 districts under this scheme. Which includes 24 mythological places, 22 historical places, 51 religious places, 4 martyr places and 12 cultural places. This will benefit the city residents and tourists. The Chief Minister has given instructions to complete the beautification of these places soon.

In view of the Shri Ramlala Pran Pratishtha program on January 22, Urban Development Minister AK Sharma has given instructions to all the civic bodies to clean religious, historical, tourist and public places and make them garbage free. All religious and pilgrimage places should be clean and beautiful.

Reviewing the Swachh Tirath Abhiyan at the Urban Bodies Directorate, the Urban Development Minister said that this time there will be no shortage in cleanliness and garbage disposal. In future, efforts will also be made to save such places from filth again.
