The students of Incubation Center of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal, Sonipat have displayed their talent and created a drone. This drone can remain stable in wind speed of 10Km per hour.

Students are enthusiastically participating in the ongoing incubation at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal. Some students have made a drone that remains stable in wind speed of 10 km per hour. Not only this, some students have decided to make equipment to protect the borders in future. This drone can go to its destination through GPS.

GPS system used in drones

This drone has been made under the leadership of student Vansh Batra of the Think Boat Committee of the Incubation Centre. GPS system has been used in making this drone. In the first phase, micro controller has been used to make it. By removing the shortcomings in this, a drone will be made using flight controller which will remain stable even in 10 to 15 km  high speed wind. This drone can remain flying up to a height of 500 meters for 10 minutes. Apart from this, it can go up to 1 km away.

Discussion will be held regarding the future

Vansh said that some changes will be made in this drone in future. First of all, its battery will be replaced so that it can fly steadily for up to 1 hour. With more battery, it will be able to cover a distance of up to 5 km. Whereas Vice Chancellor Prof. Prakash Singh said that the students themselves are working using their own ideas. And every possible help is being provided to the students by the school. Apart from this, he asked to organize a meeting soon in which the work to be done in future will be discussed.
