Chandigarh: Haryana Government has made a plan to include electric buses in the fleet of roadways under the km Scheme. Yamunanagar district of Haryana is also going to get 50 electric buses in the first phase. While the passengers will get better facilities than before, on the other hand these buses will also provide pollution free travel. While giving the information, it was told that the company will be responsible for everything from charging to repairs and electricity expenses. All work will be done under the supervision of Demt Company only.

Special arrangements have also been made for these buses at Jagadhri bus stand. Let us tell you that except the old building of Jagadhri Bus Stand, the entire premises has been handed over to the company. It is here that the company will make smooth arrangements from charging points to offices and parking of buses. The operation of these buses is also going to start from January 26. Electric buses will have 55 seats and each bus will be 12 meters long.

Buses will be operated only within a radius of 200 km

Giving information, it was told that these buses will be operated only within a radius of 200 km, because the capacity of charging these buses at one time is only about 150 to 200 km. Due to the inclusion of these buses, the number of buses on local routes will also be more than before, due to which passengers will get better facilities. Students going to college and school will also get benefits.

Problems of passengers will end soon
