Charbagh railway station, Northern Railway Lucknow division, has nine platforms. Trains with a capacity of 20 coaches are run with 14 to 16 coaches due to their short length.

Now the Northern Railway administration has made a blueprint to increase the platform. There will also be shed and drinking water facilities for the passengers. Approximately Rs 30 crore will be spent on this. Work is expected to start after Diwali. And it will take three to four months.

Convenient arrangement for trains coming and going from Charbagh

Due to smaller platforms in trains, there are fewer compartments. Seats in trains are filling up quickly. Due to this, confirmed tickets are not available. Railway officials said that increasing the platform length will increase the number of coaches in trains and waiting passengers will get confirmed tickets. There are seventy trains to and from Charbagh. In which fewer compartments can be increased.
