Delhi Bus Big Update: By June next year, all diesel buses running in Ghaziabad-NCR region will be completely stopped. There will be a ban on entry of diesel buses into Delhi from November 1. These will be converted into BS-6 buses and CNG buses.
It has been decided to completely stop the operation of all diesel buses in NCR. For this reason, CAQM has requested to stop the buses in three batches. All bus services will be suspended till June 30 next year. This reduces environmental pollution significantly. It will be difficult for the responsible people of the transport company to change the bus on time.
UPSRTC regional director Kesari Nandan Chaudhary said that diesel buses will not run for Delhi from November 1. The buses running there will be replaced with BS-6 buses. Apart from this, preparations have started to replace other buses on time. A report in this regard is available to the headquarters.

Diesel buses will be divided into three categories
- Buses will run from NCR to NCR from 31 March 2024
- Buses departing from NCR to Delhi on November 1, 2023
- Valid from Non-NCR to NCR till 30th June 2024

505 series buses are banned.
About 505 diesel buses are in use in the Ghaziabad region. If these buses are banned in Delhi and NCR. So they will be sent to other areas. There may be such areas also. Where air pollution is not a problem.

Only CNG buses and BS-VI buses operate.
Transport company officials said there is no restriction on operating eco-friendly buses in Delhi. CNG buses and BS-6 buses will be run in place of diesel buses. These buses cause very little pollution.
