At the same time, demand for rail line from Saharanpur and Dehradun has been raised for Maa Shakumbhari Devi. With the construction of this railway route, it will be very easy for the people of Dehradun to reach Saharanpur. Currently, passengers have to travel a long distance of 123 km to reach Saharanpur. With the construction of the new railway route, it will be reduced to only 81 km. With this, the people of Doon will take only about one and a half hour to reach Saharanpur and will save a lot of time.

To build the Saharanpur-Dehradun rail line, the route will be made by cutting the mountains. The devotees of Mother Shakumbhari Devi have immense faith. To build a railway route on this route through the Shivalik hills, the Railways will have to build about 11 km long tunnel and about 106 small and big bridges.

That is what is being said. That a meeting related to Railways was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu, in which DRM Moradabad Rajkumar Singh also participated. The Chief Secretary directed the Railways to speed up the work to make Harrawala Railway Station a 24-coach terminal. When the Chief Secretary asked about the progress of the Dehradun Mohand Saharanpur new railway line, the officials said that its survey would be completed by February. DPR work has been approved.

The Chief Secretary also directed to resolve the issues between Railways and Forest Department with mutual coordination. When asked to expedite the approval of Bhandaribagh ROB which was stuck at the Railway Board level, the DRM assured the approval within a week.
