Defense Minister's OSD KP Singh, MP Diwakar Tripathi and Public Relations Officer Dr. Raghavendra Shukla had recently visited the Outer Ring Road. NHAI Lucknow Director and Regional Officer MC Dwivedi said that the eight-lane road costing Rs 60 crore will be completed rapidly in the coming days.
NHAI officials said that most of the stretch from Sitapur Highway to Gomti River is ready. This bridge is also on Gomati river. In addition, beams were installed in two drainage canals and an additional bridge on the Haldway Highway. Package 2 is 60% complete.

- Faiz Abad Road to Kursi Road, Km 15 – 100% motorable
- Road from Sultanpur to Ayodhya, 12 km - 100% passable
- Kursi Road to Sitapur Road 15 km - 90 percent work of ROB incomplete.
- Sitapur Road to Mohan Road 31 km - 60%, both road and flyover incomplete.
- Mohan Road to Sultanpur Highway, 32 km - 82%, flyover work pending.
