This is stated in the letter sent by the Basic Education Council to all the BSAs of the state. That due to the cold wave, there will be holiday for classes up to 8th in schools till 17th January. If schools continue to function even after this, strict action will be taken against teachers and school management.

There will be relief from cold on this day

There is no relief yet from the cold wave that has been going on across the state for the last several days. The wind will also change from January 20.
