Temperature condition in different districts of Uttar Pradesh
The temperature in Ayodhya has dropped to 3.5 degrees Celsius, which is the lowest temperature in the state this season. Apart from this, districts like Kannauj, Kanpur and Amethi are also recording temperatures between 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.

Due to increasing cold, people are resorting to bonfires and using warm clothes. In rural areas, people are trying to keep the environment around them warm by lighting stoves in their homes.

Due to reduced visibility due to dense fog, drivers are facing a lot of trouble. Railways and airways have also been affected by this, due to which many trains and flights are running late.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for cold wave in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and has appealed to the people to take proper precautions to avoid the cold. Fog is also affecting life, causing delay in daily work.
