UP Weather Update: The effect of cold and fog is increasing in Uttar Pradesh. The cold of December is becoming more difficult for the people facing cold wave and fog during night and morning. Especially during the night when the temperature drops, the effect of cold is being felt even more.
Fog alert and increasing effect of cold
A fog alert has been issued across the state on Wednesday, due to which visibility has decreased. Although a cold wave warning has not been issued, the cold has increased due to cold winds. The weather is expected to be clear in the western and eastern parts of the state on December 18.
Slight drop in temperature
There has been a slight drop in temperature in the state, due to which the lowest temperature of 4.6℃ has been recorded in Churk. The temperature has also decreased in Ayodhya, Meerut, Kanpur and other cities, due to which the cold is being felt even more.
Maximum and minimum temperature
The minimum temperature in Lucknow was recorded at 8.3℃ and the maximum temperature at 26.8℃, while the maximum temperature in Bulandshahr, Aligarh and Najibabad was between 22℃ and 23℃. Due to this changing temperature, people are facing cold at night and in the morning.
Effect of cold wave and fog
The fog continues along with cold winds in the entire Uttar Pradesh, which is also affecting daily life. People have to take extra precautions while leaving the house in the morning and evening.
