YuvaPatrkaar : Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Railways is planning to launch ‘Vande Bharat Sleeper Coach’ and ‘Vande Bharat Metro’ soon. Railway Board Secretary Milind Deuskar gave this information on Thursday.

Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director, BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited), said, “If everything goes well, we will bring a world class unmatched travel experience with the first prototype (of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train) within this financial year.” ''

It is the partner to develop the train

BEML is partnering with Integral Coach Factory, Chennai and Railway Board to develop the first sleeper Vande Bharat train. Earlier this month, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had shared pictures of 'Concept Train-Vande Bharat (Sleeper Edition)' on social media.

Each Vande Bharat Express sleeper train will be designed to achieve a speed of 160 kmph and will have 16 coaches with an estimated capacity to accommodate 887 passengers.
