Cold wave continues in Haryana. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of dense fog in Hisar, Rewari, Narnaul, Jhajjar and Charkhi Dadri today. Meanwhile, Palwal, Panchkula, Sirsa and Kaithal are under a thick blanket of fog.

The weather department has issued a red alert of extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in Rohtak, Sonepat, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Hisar, Fatehabad, Sonepat and Gurugram. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of clear weather in the state even today. Cold winds will prevail in all the districts of the state today.

Yamunanagar received 3MM, Jind 1.8 MM, Panipat 2.8 MM, Karnal 0.4 MM, Sonipat 1.0 MM, Dadri 2.7 MM, Gurugram 7.2 MM, Faridabad 6.7 MM, Palwal 3.7 MM, Nuh 7MM, Panchkula 1.6 MM, Kurukshetra 0.2 MM, Kaithal 0.1 MM, Rewari 0.8 MM, Mahendergarh 0.4 MM and Hisar 0.1 MM.

According to Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar, the weather in Haryana will continue to change till January 19. There are chances of rain and thundershowers in the morning. There is also likelihood of rains at some places.
