Weather Update: Due to active western disturbance, the weather in Haryana is going to change once again from today. India Meteorological Department and Agricultural Meteorology Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar have issued an alert regarding the possible weather. According to the issued weather bulletin, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas in Haryana on March 13. During this period, there will be a rise in night temperature and a fall in day temperature. At present the night temperature remains 2.0 degrees below normal.

It will be partly cloudy at times and winds will also blow. Dr. Khichad said that during this period there will be a slight increase in the night temperature. There is a possibility of drop in day temperature. But due to the partial effect of Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and winds along with cloud cover at some places in Haryana on March 13 and sporadic drizzle at some places in the northern and south-western regions. After this the weather is likely to remain clear and dry. There has been a change in the weather due to rain at many places in Haryana this morning.

Narnaul was the hottest

During the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in Haryana state. During this period, the highest temperature was recorded in Narnaul district at 28.6 degrees Celsius while in Gurugram it was 8.2 degrees Celsius. According to the official weather bulletin of the India Meteorological Department, there may be rain and thundershowers along with hailstorm at isolated places in Haryana on March 14. During this period the wind speed will remain at 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Farmers' worries are once again increasing amid the possibility of high wind speed during the rains. Because the mustard crop is ripe. During this period, if there is strong wind along with the rain, there is a possibility of the crop falling. During the earlier rains, about 30 percent of the crops in Haryana were damaged due to hailstorm. According to the one-week weather forecast, the weather will remain dry after March 14 till March 16. During this period, an increase of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius will be recorded in the maximum temperature.

It may rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued today regarding light rain in some areas of North-Western region of India, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Apart from this, IMD has predicted light rain in West Bengal and Sikkim till March 14 and later on March 16. On the other hand, Gangetic West Bengal region may see rain till March 17. Light rain is expected in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh regions from March 16 to March 18.
