Tuesday night was the coldest night in the state, when the minimum temperature was 7.5 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature of the day in Raisen was 22.2 degrees.

But the temperature dropped in some districts at night. Umaria, Tikamgarh, Sidhi, Malajkhand, Rewa, Satna, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Chhindwara, Damoh, Bhopal, Betul, Datia, Gwalior, Narmadapuram, Dhar, Guna, Khandwa, Khargone, Indore were included in these districts. Temperatures were above normal in these districts.

Rajgarh district recorded the lowest temperature of 7.2 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The minimum temperature was 7.8 in Chhatarpur's Naugaon, 8.8 in Pachmarhi, 9.4 in Gwalior, 11.4 in Bhopal, 14.4 in Indore, 12.4 in Khargone, 12.5 in Jabalpur, 11.2 in Rewa, 11.2 in Umaria and 11.1 in Mulajkhand. The maximum temperature was 25.8 degrees Celsius in the capital Bhopal district, 26.6 in Gwalior, 25.02 in Indore, 22 in Raisen, 22.02 in Pachmarhi, 24.7 in Betul, 25.8 in Chhindwara, 24.5 in Jabalpur and 30 degrees Celsius in Malajkhand.

The Meteorological Department has predicted the temperature to remain similarly cold in many districts of the state on Thursday also. There will also be light fog in some districts. These districts are Neemuch, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Panna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari. The weather may remain clear in the capital of Bhopal. Mist is visible somewhere in the morning.
