Haryana: There's great news for the residents of Haryana. Three new bus stands are set to be constructed in Gurugram, known as the Millennium City of Haryana. According to reports, the construction of three new bus stands in Gurugram will greatly benefit commuters.
According to reports, these bus stands are set to be built in Rajiv Chowk, Sector 12, and Sector 29. The Transport Department will provide land for these bus stands to the GMDA.
The Chief Executive Officer of the GMDA and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Town and Country Planning Department requested the Transport Department to provide land for the bus stands.
According to reports, Gurugram aims to operate 900 city buses. Therefore, land is required to build bus stands at these three locations. The Transport Department will retain ownership of this land.
According to reports, in 2007, the Agriculture Department provided five acres of land to the Transport Department for the construction of a bus stand at Rajiv Chowk, but it was not completed.
Thousands of people visit the Mini Secretariat daily. The lack of a bus stand causes significant inconvenience.
According to reports, city buses are parked on the road near the Gurugram Metro Station, causing traffic jams. If bus stands are constructed at these locations as soon as possible, the bus parking system will be improved.
