Travel allowance is available with different pay bands. Travel allowance in Hiar TPTA cities is Rs 1800 and Rs 1900. Additional DA of Rs 3600 is available in grades 3 to 8. At the same time, at other places this rate is Rs 1800 plus DA.

Revision in HRA

HRA—Home Rent Allowance—will be the third and biggest benefit. Next year, there should also be a seventh payment commission. The next rate of revision (HRA) will be 3%. Actually, it will be revised once the dearness allowance crosses fifty percent. HRA is currently 27, 24, 18 percent. It is divided into Z, Y and X city categories. When dearness allowance will be 50%, HRA will also become 30%, 27%, 21%.

When will we get these three gifts?

HRA revision, increase in travel allowance and increase in dearness allowance of central government employees are expected by next March. The government often announces dearness allowance to be implemented from January in March. In such a situation, the Seventh Payment Commission will determine the amount of dearness allowance only in March 2024. There will be a revision of 3% in HRA if DA crosses 50%. At the same time, travel allowance may also increase according to grade.
