Aditya-L1 : Aditya L1, India's first space-based mission to study the Sun, successfully reentered Earth's orbit for the fourth time early Friday. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) gave this information. "Earth Orbit Change (EBN-4) was successfully executed for the fourth time," the space agency said in a post on 'X' (formerly Twitter).

ISRO's ground stations at Mauritius, Bengaluru, SDSC-SHAR and Port Blair monitored the satellite during this mission.'' The current orbit of Aditya L1 is 256 km x 121973 km.

Earth-bound fire has happened 3 times before

Earlier, ISRO had raised the orbit of Aditya L1 spacecraft for the third time at around 2.30 am on September 10. It was then sent into an orbit of 296 km x 71,767 km above Earth. Before that, on September 3, Aditya L1 had successfully changed orbit for the first time. ISRO had informed at around 11.45 am that Earth bound fire was conducted on Aditya L-1, with the help of which Aditya L1 changed its orbit. At the same time, ISRO had changed its orbit for the second time on September 5. ISRO had also given information about this by tweeting. According to ISRO, Aditya-L1 will spend 16 days in Earth's orbit. During this period, Earth bound fire will be fired five times to change the orbit of Aditya-L1.

It was launched this month

Indian space agency ISRO launched India's first solar mission Aditya-L1 on September 2. ISRO successfully launched Aditya L1 from PSLV C57 launch vehicle. The launch took place from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
