Yuva Patrkaar: Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government has decided to ban the use of mobile phones in classrooms. The Directorate of Education (DoE) said that there is a strict ban on the use of mobile phones by students in the classrooms of government and private schools in Delhi. Teachers and other staff have also been asked to avoid using mobile phones in places like classrooms, playgrounds, laboratories and libraries.

In a circular, the DOE said, “Parents should ensure that their children do not bring mobile phones to the school premises. If students bring mobile phones to school. So the school authority should make arrangements to keep them in the locker and the mobile phones should be returned back to the students after they are discharged.”
