Honor given with prize money of Rs 13 crore
Let us tell you, awardee Joyita is a Professor of Environment and Development at the University of Amsterdam (UVA). Where during the honor ceremony held in The Hague, the Education, Science and Culture Minister of Netherlands, Robert Dickgraaff, handed over a reward of Rs 13 crore. After receiving this award, Dr. Joyita has said that the prize money will be spent on activities related to scientific research and application of knowledge.
Let us tell you, Joyita Gupta obtained PhD degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam after studying from Delhi University, Gujarat University and Harvard Law School. She is Professor of Environment and Development in the Global South at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2013.

NWO said for excellent work
After honoring Joyita Gupta here, NWO said that Joyita is working in this direction. How distributional issues arising from climate change can be resolved through good governance. She says that her effort is to work towards creating a global system for climate change prevention. The focus of his research is to understand the connections between the climate crisis, potential solutions, and justice.
