The government has sought data of all the beneficiaries related to the Old Age Pension Scheme in the district from the District Social Welfare Department. And the officials of the District Social Welfare Department have also filtered the data of all the beneficiaries and sent letters to them. Let us tell you that 74238 old age pension scheme beneficiaries of this scheme will get Rs 1000 per month.

Accordingly, an installment of pension was being sent every 3 months. The first installment of pension was sent in April, May, June and the second installment was sent in July, August, September. One and a half thousand people left out of old age pension scheme

And all the people who were found ineligible while filtering the data. Those people have been excluded from this scheme. On the instructions of the DM CDO in the district, efforts were being made to find ineligible beneficiaries for the last 3 months through the Social Welfare Department and Revenue along with the Gram Panchayat Secretary and their answers were being verified.

The 650 new applications that came for the Old Age Pension Scheme have also been included in it after verification. They will get their first installment in this New Year only.
