District Supply Officer Sunil Kumar Singh informed that now ration will be distributed at the shops of ration dealers through electronic weighing machines from the month of March.

E-pass weighing machine will be kept in strong room

After this, the slip will be received only when the quantity of ration is available from the machine. This machine will be connected to ePass machines. Permission has been obtained regarding this. Along with e-weighing machines, a lot of preparations are being made at the district level for the distribution of new e-passes. Keeping in view the safety, these e-pass weighing machines reaching the district will be kept in strong rooms at all tehsil levels.

DM issued instructions

E-weighing machines will be stamped before distributing them at ration shops. DM has also issued instructions for this. At present there are 1339 ration shops. And card holders are 6.35 lakh, eligible Grahasthi card holders are 6.10 lakh. Now Atyodaya card holders are up to 25 thousand. In which 27 lakh units of ration are distributed.
