The assembly session is being held from 25 August to 29 August 2023. During the assembly session, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar exposed the irregularities in issuing cards to the people living below the poverty line during the Congress rule in the year 2011.

BPL cards were made wrongly

CM Manohar Lal Khattar said during the assembly session that in the year 2011, during the Congress regime, BPL cards were wrongly distributed to people living in expensive housing. There were many such poor people who were not included in the BPL list. During the time of Congress, there was a big disturbance in the lists of people included in the BPL card, which is now being removed through the family identity card.

New ration cards are being made through PPP

On the first day of the monsoon session of Vidhansabha, CM Manohar Lal talked about the issues related to family identity card. Apart from this, giving information about the various corrective works being done by the BJP government at present, the CM said that the Haryana government has made new BPL Ration Cards for about 12.5 lakh families during the month of January through Parivar Pehchan Patra. And the names of many such families who were wrongly taking advantage of ration have been removed from their ration cards.

Discrepancies coming in the ration card are being removed

While giving the information, the CM said that due to some defects, the ration cards of many families were cut. All those loopholes are being rectified by the department. And again Ration Cards are being made. He assured all the families to remove these anomalies. If there is any mistake in the Haryana BPL Ration Card of any citizen. So you can get it fixed by applying. The CM assured that if the rules related to the Family Identification Authority are not first introduced in the House. So this session will be presented in the upcoming two days.
