Now Haryana Staff Selection Commission has got a big relief from Punjab and Haryana High Court. In the 7000 Police Constable recruitment case, Justice Moudgil, on behalf of the High Court, heard the arguments of both the parties and then justified the percentile formula of the Commission as absolutely correct. The High Court said that this formula is absolutely correct. Nothing has been added to it.

Due to this decision of the High Court, the path of recruitment has now become completely clear. However, a detailed decision of the High Court is still yet to come in this matter. On March 14 this year, the High Court had banned the issuance of appointment letters to constables. The High Court also agreed with the facts of the Commission.

In which information was given by HSSC that in the selection criteria, 80% weightage was given to knowledge test, written examination, while 10% weightage of each was fixed for social, economic status and additional qualification. Along with this, candidates were also shortlisted to appear in Physical Screening Test as well as Physical Measurement Test and after that all the eligible candidates were called for Document Verification.
