However, BJP has now started importing some former corporators of other parties to gain power in the municipal corporation in one hand.

BJP does not have much advantage at that time
Jalgaon Municipal Corporation is considered the most important municipal corporation. A total of 75 corporators are elected in this municipal corporation. If we think about the last 2013 elections in this municipal corporation, 33 seats were elected in this municipal corporation as Khandesh Vikas Aghadi in the 2013 elections. At that time, Suresh Dada Jain was arrested in the Gharkul scam case. He had formed his panel Khandesh Vikas Aghadi. Suresh Dada Jain's panel got as many as 33 seats, gaining sympathy from his arrest. At that time, BJP leader Eknathrao Khadse had camped in Jalgaon city to overthrow Suresh Jain's power. Many cases and meetings were held against Suresh Jain. However, that meeting did not benefit the BJP much.

But in that 2013 election, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena won as many as 13 seats in the election for the first time. In this, Lalit Kolhe's panel was elected on the symbol of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. These 13 of his seats were for the post of corporator. But since 38 seats were required for a majority, Suresh Dada Jain formed the government in the municipal corporation along with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.

A big success for Girish Mahajan
Also, if we think about 2018, Suresh Dada had joined the Shiv Sena party in this election. At that time, his panel had the intention of participating in the campaign in this election and hoisting saffron over the Municipal Corporation. However, the BJP had single-handedly won 57 out of 75 seats by piercing the throat of Suresh Dada in the Municipal Corporation, and Minister Girish Mahajan had achieved great success in overthrowing Suraj Jain's 40-year rule in the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation.

Now, the BJP wants to gain power over the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation once again. However, Minister Girish Mahajan has done the math for power. Recently, the Shiv Sena has entered the Thackeray group by piercing the throat of 13 former corporators. Of course, keeping in mind that the BJP should not have any opponents left for the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation, they have dragged Suresh Jain's staunch supporters for 40 years into the net.

Possibility of pre-maiti elections
Although the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation has announced the contest as a grand alliance, it is equally important how many seats the BJP will give to the Shiv Sena Shinde faction. If the Shinde faction wants more seats and the Nationalist Ajit Pawar party also wants seats, where will the seats of the old BJP workers who are corporators and where will the seats of those who have joined the new party be? This will also be equally important. But if all the three parties do not get equal seats, it is equally important that pre-maiti elections can be held in the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation.

The BJP will face the election field with full force in this election. Girish Mahajan has already said that he has expressed firm confidence that the maximum number of seats in Maharashtra will be elected in the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation. But what will the people of Jalgaon decide? This will also be equally important. In the coming elections, it will be clear at the time of the results.
