Let us tell you, Janmashtami was celebrated on Wednesday at Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh. During this, Kanha was decorated with lemon and corn. Events like Matki Fod and Dahi Handi were held at many places. Uriyadi was celebrated in Kerala.

In Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has organized a competition named Pro Govinda for Dahi Handi festival this year. In which the winner will be given a cash prize.

Farmers are also getting good benefits from this. There is a lot going on for the G-20. People are also buying flowers for Janmashtami.”
