Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Anil Kumar Yadav said that writing words indicating religion and caste on vehicles is a violation of traffic rules. And according to the instructions issued in this regard by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, action was taken in the district today. He told that by running a special campaign today, challans were issued to such vehicles, which had written caste indicator, religion indicator words, on whose lead were pictures of angry nature Hanuman ji and who had put black film on their lead.

Campaign launched at these 10 places

He told that the campaign was conducted at 10 places in Noida and Greater Noida including Pari Chowk, Maharishi Ashram, Kisan Chowk, Sector-18, Sector-15 Golchakkar, Sector-62 and Rajnigandha intersections. Deputy Commissioner of Police Yadav said that during this period, a challan of Rs 2500 was deducted for the vehicles having black film on the lead, while a challan of Rs 1000 was deducted for the vehicles with words indicating religion and caste.
