At the same time, due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, the situation in Punjab is also very bad. Beas and Sutlej rivers are in spate due to release of water from Bhakra and Pong dams. Due to this Jalandhar, Moga, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur, Kapurthala, Rupnagar, Nawanshahar, Tarn Taran districts of the state are in the grip of flood.

Let us tell you that the Meteorological Center Chandigarh has issued a warning of heavy rain in 12-13 districts of Punjab from 23 to 25 August.
