A 'Yellow Alert' for rain and thunderstorms is in effect for Saharanpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Sitapur, Mahamaya Nagar, Auraiya, Kanpur, Farrukhabad, Bijnor, Mainpuri, Hardoi, Jhansi, and Lalitpur. Additionally, alerts have also been issued for Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Pratapgarh, Azamgarh, and Deoria.
