Winter School Holiday: This is a time of great joy for the students living in Delhi and their parents as the Directorate of Education, Delhi has announced the winter holidays. This year, students will be given a holiday from January 1 to January 15 so that they can enjoy the New Year celebrations and the winter season to the fullest.

Features of winter holidays

The holidays in Delhi schools are not only a time of rest for the students, but it also gives them an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming examinations. During this time, the Directorate of Education, Delhi will conduct extra classes especially for the students of class 9th to 12th which will help in improving their school performance.

Start of extra classes

The main objective of these extra classes is to provide extra help to the students in core subjects like Math, English, and Science classes. These classes will be especially for those students who need more study help in these subjects.
