YuvaPatrkaar : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released its first list of 12 candidates for Mizoram Assembly Election 2023. Let us tell you that BJP has released this first list of candidates for the elections to be held on 40 seats. Earlier on Tuesday, Congress had released the first list of 39 candidates.

Congress fielded many big faces

In this list, party's state unit chief Lal Sawta has been fielded from Aizawl West-III. Whereas, Lalnunmawia Chuango has been made the candidate from Aizawl North-I (ST). Lalrindika Ralte from Hachek (ST), Lalmingthanga Selo from Dampa (ST) and Lalrinmaviya from Aizawl North-II will contest.

Counting of votes on 3rd December

The last date for nomination in Mizoram is October 20. And the nominations will be scrutinized on October 21. Also, candidates will be able to withdraw their names till October 23. It is known that assembly elections for 40 seats will be organized on 7th November and its results will be declared on 3rd December.
