National Games : Maharashtra Completes Double Century of Medals, Mehuli Ghosh Wins Gold in 10 Meter Air Rifle
National Games : Maharashtra continued its dominance in the 37th National Games, taking its total medals tally beyond 200 on Tuesday. Maharashtra's 200th medal came in the triathlon mixed relay when women's individual winner Mansi Mohite led her team to victory over former champions Tamil Nadu with a timing of 1:51.19 seconds.
Maharashtra has won 70 gold so far
This is Mohite's 5th gold medal in these games. She had won a gold medal in the individual event on Sunday before winning three gold medals in the biathlon event of Modern Pentathlon. His teammate Parth Miraj in the gold medal winning team ended his campaign with 6 medals, which include 4 gold and 1 silver.
Maharashtra has so far won 203 medals including 70 gold, 64 silver and 69 bronze. Former champion Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) is at the second position with 55 gold medals. While Haryana is at third place with 50 gold medals.

Mehuli Ghosh won gold
Host Goa is ranked 12th with a total of 50 medals including 12 gold, 12 silver and 26 bronze. West Bengal's Mehuli Ghosh won the gold medal in the women's 10m air rifle event with a score of 253.7 at the Mandrem shooting range.
Haryana's Nancy Mandhotra (251.0) won silver while West Bengal's Swati Chaudhary won the bronze medal. In canoeing and kayaking, Madhya Pradesh continued its dominance by winning all 4 gold medals in slalom. Kerala won all the gold medals of the day in the Kalaripayattu competition.

Kerala wins all gold in martial arts
Kerala won all 11 gold medals, showing its dominance in the oldest traditional martial art form. In women's hockey, Haryana defeated Punjab in the penalty shootout and made it to the final where it will face Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh defeated Jharkhand in the other semi-final.
In the men's semi-finals, Karnataka defeated Maharashtra 5-4 to book their place in the final where they will face Haryana. Haryana defeated Uttar Pradesh by a single goal. Meanwhile, SSCB boxers secured their place in 6 out of 7 finals in the men's category.
