PKL 2023 Auction : Pawan Sehrawat Becomes Most Expensive Player in Pro Kabaddi League, Breaks His Record
PKL 2023 Auction : Pawan Sehrawat shined brightest on the first day of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 10 players auction. Pawan emerged as the most expensive player. Indian men's Kabaddi team captain Pawan Sehrawat, popularly known as High Flyer, is also in the news this season. He was bought at the most expensive price in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) auction. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat was bought by Telugu Titans for Rs 2.60 crore.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Reza Shadlaoui Chianeh emerged as the most expensive foreign player in the Pro Kabaddi League player auction, being bought by Puneri Paltan for Rs 2.35 crore. This player auction saw an increase in the Rs 1 crore club from four players in the previous player auction to five players.
Under Pawan's captaincy, India recently won the gold medal in the men's Kabaddi event in the Asian Games 2023. Hyderabad team Telugu Titans spent Rs 2.61 crore to include Pawan in their team. Before Pawan, the record of the most expensive player in PKL history was held in the name of Iran's defender Mohammadreza Shadloo. Pawan Sehrawat, Mohammadreza Shadlaoui Chianeh, Maninder Singh, Fazal Atrachali and Siddharth Desai were part of the Rs 1 crore club in the auction.
