Bajaj Chetak Electric : Bajaj Auto has launched the new model of Chetak electric scooter. And all its features/specifications have also been released. Let us tell you that two variants of this electric scooter have been launched. In which the price of standard model is Rs 1.15 lakh and the top model is Rs 1.21 lakh. The company is making this claim. The range of the new model is going to increase by 5 kilometers compared to the previous one. The current model gives a range of 108km on a single charge. Whereas now it can be up to 113km. The 2.9kWh battery pack is its biggest feature.

LCD display has been given in the new changes. This is same in both the variants. However, in some cases it seems to be lagging behind its current model. As the power of its charger has been reduced. Currently, 800w charger is available with Chetak Electric. Whereas in the new one it has been reduced to 650w. This is going to increase the charging time. Whereas earlier it took 3.50 hours to charge the scooter, now it has increased to 4.50 hours.

There are no other significant changes in the new model of Bajaj Chetak Electric. It has drum brakes on both sides. Which is fine from safety point of view. The digital display has the facility of speedometer, odometer, battery charging indicator, distance to empty, clock and side stand indicator.

Experts say that considering the features, the price of Chetak is still a bit high. But if the company comes with some offers then things can be resolved. Talking about the challenge, it is still not going to be easy for Chetak to do business in the Indian market, because other companies are offering electric scooters with more advanced features in this price range.
