Yuva Patrkaar, New Delhi : Young Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana feels that electric vehicles are the future of transportation as the whole world today is focusing on protecting the environment.

He says, “Today we live in a time where we have to make a conscious choice to adopt sustainable ways of living. I am glad that responsible people are not only focusing on this but also encouraging people to adopt electric vehicles. We all need to think seriously about this option as it is high time that we all consider measures to protect our environment.

Ayushmann says, “We need to be aware and use cars more and more efficiently and electric vehicles can bring a massive positive change in this direction all over the world. I think electric vehicles will be adopted very quickly by urban transport, provided the basic infrastructure is in place to support this transformation. I keep reading continuously that work is being done on many plans in this direction.

Ayushmann feels that the adoption of electric vehicles is going to be inevitable. He says, “People are becoming more conscious about the way they live their lives and this is an inevitable reality. Today everyone wants us to save our earth, so that it remains a livable place for the generations to come. We all know how our actions can help the environment. 'And I think we are living in the era of electric cars which are being adopted by a lot of people.'

As far as his work is concerned, Ayushmann is all set to release the sequel of his blockbuster film Dream Girl on 25th August.
